Michelle Johnson
Club Director/ Coach

- Michelle set the school record with 744 kills, placed 2nd al-time with 212 total blocks (held by 2017’s Hall of Fame inductee Deja Sweeney) , 3rd all-time with 92 aces, and 4th all-time with 967 digs. In 2009 and 2010 Michelle played for Fresno Pacific University and helped her team to back-to-back NAIA national championship, including an undefeated season of 38-0 in 2009. She earned her BS degree in Kinesiology before playing for 3 seasons in the Professional Volleyball League for the NCVA Dream Team. Michelle then spent one season playing professional volleyball for Club Galina Lichtenstein in Switzerland. Returning to Fresno, Michelle coached for Clovis North High School and many girls junior club teams. She then earned a coaching position for her alma mater Fresno Pacific University from 2016-2018 and then married her husband Garrett. Michelle is currently continuing her education to earn her Master’s Degree in Kinesiology and is pursuing a career as a collegiate volleyball coach.
Joshua Velasquez

- Josh brings over 25 years of coaching experience to Infinity Volleyball Club. His background coaching at the high school, club, and collegiate levels has provided him with a depth of knowledge and expertise that few coaches can offer. Throughout his club coaching career, Josh has had the opportunity to learn from some of the most respected and experienced coaches in the region, including programs such as Delta Valley, NCVC, SynergyForce, and Infinity Volleyball Academy. He is passionate about building a club culture where athletes can compete, grow, and enjoy the game while being developed not only as volleyball players, but also as confident young adults and leaders both on and off the court.
Caron Florez
Social Media Manager/Setter Coach/ Coach
- Caron is an SCC alumni playing from 2020-2023 as a setter/oppo for Coach Nash. She transferred to Hope International University where she played for 2 seasons and earned a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. Caron plans on pursuing a Master’s Degree in Child Psychology.
- Caron has been coaching since 2020 starting at Force Volleyball Club in Elk Grove and continuing coaching for Seal Beach and Proplay clubs in Southern California. This will be Caron’s 2nd year as an Assistant Coach for SCC primarily working with setter training.
Hillary Chu
Coach
- Hillary brings a strong competitive and coaching background to Infinity Volleyball Club. She played club volleyball for several of the top programs in the Sacramento region, including Delta Valley, Infinity Volleyball Academy, and SynergyForce VBC.
- Following a successful high school career at Christian Brothers High School, Hillary continued her playing career at the collegiate level as a DS/Libero for the UC Santa Cruz women’s volleyball team, where she is expected to graduate in Spring 2026.
- In addition to her playing experience, Hillary has coached with Main Beach Volleyball Club and Sand VBC, working primarily with 16U athletes. She is passionate about helping young players grow their confidence, volleyball IQ, and love for the game while creating a positive and competitive team environment.
Evy Rios
Coach
- Evy has competed for some of the top volleyball clubs in the Sacramento region, including SynergyForce Volleyball Club and Infinity Volleyball Club, where she helped her teams qualify for the USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championships. She attended Inderkum High School, excelling as both a setter and hitter while helping lead the Tigers to multiple playoff appearances. Evy continued her playing career at Sac City college as a libero but also as an outside hitter!
- Known for her strong volleyball IQ and versatile skill set, Evy brings a deep understanding of the game to every practice. She is passionate about helping athletes build confidence, master new skills, and reach their full potential. Her favorite part of coaching is watching players grow through hard work and seeing their dedication turn into success on the court.
Larissa Lenkiewecz
Coach
- Larissa has been passionate about volleyball since the age of 10, competing for several top clubs in the Sacramento area, including Force Sacramento, NCVC, and Infinity Volleyball Club. She attended Bradshaw Christian High School, where she helped lead the program to one of the most successful seasons in school history before earning a scholarship to play collegiate volleyball at Cal State Dominguez Hills.
- Larissa brings four seasons of high-level club coaching experience, having coached with Infinity Volleyball Club, Synergy Volleyball Club, and numerous youth camps and clinics. She is passionate about developing athletes both on and off the court, and her favorite part of coaching is watching players grow from the beginning of the season to the end—seeing their hard work, confidence, and love for the game come to life.
Reese Ramirez
Coach
- Reese developed her passion for volleyball while competing at Christian Brothers High School and for SPVC. She continued her playing career at Sacramento City College before competing for the Sacramento State Club Volleyball program, gaining experience at multiple levels of the game.
- Reese is passionate about helping young athletes reach their full potential and believes volleyball is about much more than winning matches. She emphasizes teamwork, communication, trust, and bringing positive energy to every practice and competition. Her favorite part of coaching is working with athletes who are eager to learn and improve, and watching their dedication transform into confidence, stronger relationships, and success both on and off the court.
Mariah Azua

- Mariah began her volleyball career at Lodi High School and compete at the well known Delta Valley Volleyball Club. She continued her playing career at Sacramento City College, where she excelled as both a libero and DS, giving her a well-rounded understanding of the game.
- Mariah is passionate about helping athletes reach their potential and finds the greatest joy in watching players achieve goals they’ve worked hard to accomplish. Seeing an athlete master a new skill and experience the confidence that comes from their dedication is what inspires her to coach. She is excited to help players grow both on and off the court at Infinity Volleyball Club.
Emily Sverden

- Emily developed her love for volleyball while competing in middle school and at Rosemont High School during that time she also played at SPVC before continuing her playing career as an outside hitter at Sacramento City College.
- Emily is passionate about creating a positive and encouraging environment where athletes can grow both on and off the court. She loves seeing young players work hard, support one another, and have fun while developing their skills. Her goal is to help every athlete build confidence, embrace challenges, and enjoy the journey of becoming the best version of themselves.

Ryin Le
Coach
- Ryin Le grew up in the Sacramento area and played at Rocklin High School and SynergyForce VBC as both a setter and hitter. She continued her volleyball career at Pacific Union College, competing as a setter and defensive specialist while developing a well-rounded understanding of the game.
- Ryin is passionate about giving back to the sport that has had such a positive impact on her life. Her favorite part of coaching is watching athletes grow in both their skills and confidence, and celebrating their success as players and teammates. She is excited to help develop the next generation of athletes at Infinity Volleyball Club.
Malae Talamoni

- Malae began her volleyball career at Center High School before continuing to compete at Sacramento City College. She also played club volleyball for SPVC, where she developed a strong passion for the game and the importance of teamwork.
- Her favorite part of coaching is building meaningful connections with her athletes and creating a positive, supportive environment where they can thrive. She is passionate about helping young players grow not only as volleyball athletes, but also as confident, resilient individuals who carry the lessons they learn on the court into everyday life.
