
2026 Coaches
Michelle Johnson
Club Director/ Coach
- Michelle set the school record with 744 kills, placed 2nd al-time with 212 total blocks (held by 2017’s Hall of Fame inductee Deja Sweeney) , 3rd all-time with 92 aces, and 4th all-time with 967 digs. In 2009 and 2010 Michelle played for Fresno Pacific University and helped her team to back-to-back NAIA national championship, including an undefeated season of 38-0 in 2009. She earned her BS degree in Kinesiology before playing for 3 seasons in the Professional Volleyball League for the NCVA Dream Team. Michelle then spent one season playing professional volleyball for Club Galina Lichtenstein in Switzerland. Returning to Fresno, Michelle coached for Clovis North High School and many girls junior club teams. She then earned a coaching position for her alma mater Fresno Pacific University from 2016-2018 and then married her husband Garrett. Michelle is currently continuing her education to earn her Master’s Degree in Kinesiology and is pursuing a career as a collegiate volleyball coach.
Joshua Velasquez
Club Director/ Coach
- Josh brings over 25 years of coaching experience to Infinity Volleyball Club. His background coaching at the high school, club, and collegiate levels has provided him with a depth of knowledge and expertise that few coaches can offer. Throughout his club coaching career, Josh has had the opportunity to learn from some of the most respected and experienced coaches in the region, including programs such as Delta Valley, NCVC, SynergyForce, and Infinity Volleyball Academy. He is passionate about building a club culture where athletes can compete, grow, and enjoy the game while being developed not only as volleyball players, but also as confident young adults and leaders both on and off the court.
Caron Florez
Social Media Manager/Coach
- Caron is an SCC alumni playing from 2020-2023 as a setter/oppo for Coach Nash. She transferred to Hope International University where she played for 2 seasons and earned a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. Caron plans on pursuing a Master’s Degree in Child Psychology.
- Caron has been coaching since 2020 starting at Force Volleyball Club in Elk Grove and continuing coaching for Seal Beach and Proplay clubs in Southern California. This will be Caron’s 2nd year as an Assistant Coach for SCC primarily working with setter training.
Hilary Chu
Coach
- Hilary brings a strong competitive and coaching background to Infinity Volleyball Club. She played club volleyball for several of the top programs in the Sacramento region, including Delta Valley, Infinity Volleyball Academy, and SynergyForce VBC.
- Following a successful high school career at Christian Brothers High School, Hilary continued her playing career at the collegiate level as a DS/Libero for the UC Santa Cruz women’s volleyball team, where she is expected to graduate in Spring 2026.
- In addition to her playing experience, Hilary has coached with Main Beach Volleyball Club and Sand VBC, working primarily with 16U athletes. She is passionate about helping young players grow their confidence, volleyball IQ, and love for the game while creating a positive and competitive team environment.
Lucy Ladouceur
Coach
- Lucy grew up in Sacramento and developed her passion for volleyball while competing as an Outside Hitter for Aspire Volleyball Club. She continued her playing career at Sacramento City College, competing in both indoor and beach volleyball.
- Since beginning her coaching career in 2023, Lucy has been dedicated to helping young athletes grow their skills, confidence, and love for the game. She is excited to be part of building Infinity Volleyball Club and creating a positive, competitive environment where athletes can continue to develop both on and off the court.
Nora Mayer
Coach
- Nora grew up in Lodi and developed her passion for volleyball while competing as a hitter for Prime Volleyball Club. She continued her volleyball career at Sacramento City College, where she competed in both indoor and beach volleyball.
- Since beginning her coaching career in 2024, Nora has been committed to helping young athletes build confidence, improve their skills, and develop a strong love for the game. She is excited to be part of the growth of Infinity Volleyball Club and looks forward to creating a positive, competitive environment where athletes can thrive both on and off the court.
